Day 1: Journey to Samburu
Start your safari adventure by departing Nairobi in the morning, heading to the wild Samburu National Reserve. After a scenic drive, you’ll arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive where you may see unique wildlife like Grevy’s zebras and Somali ostriches. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Spend a full day exploring Samburu with both morning and afternoon game drives. Discover the rich wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and various bird species. All meals and overnight stay are at the lodge, letting you fully embrace the wild landscapes.
Day 3: Travel to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru, where you’ll arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive, where you may spot the Big Five as well as numerous bird species, especially the iconic flamingos along the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 4: Head to Masai Mara
Following breakfast, journey from Lake Nakuru to the world-renowned Masai Mara, arriving by lunchtime. After a meal, head out for an afternoon game drive to spot lions, giraffes, and perhaps even the elusive cheetah. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Discover Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day exploring Masai Mara with extensive game drives. You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn more about local culture (additional fee). Meals and overnight stay are provided at the lodge.
Day 6: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, start your return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon around 2:00 p.m.
