Masai Mara is a large game reserve in south western Kenya. It is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs and its annual migration of zebras and wildebeest which occur yearly from July to October hence known as the great migration. Lake Nakuru is a must visit for any adventurous traveller. A taste of paradise in the Kenyan wilderness with the stunning sunset view of the lake and the beautiful palm-fringed trees that add to the amazing scenery of this magical escapade.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Picked up from your hotel where you will start your safari to Masai mara at 7:30am, travel south ward to the viewpoint of the great rift valley, admire the escapement of the area from a distance then continue to the Little Italian church which is just a few meters ahead, have the history of the place then proceed to Narok, a small Masaai town well known for the most beautiful curios ever, proceed to Masaai Mara for lunch at the camp followed by afternoon game viewing to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore The Endless Plains Of Masai Mara

Wake with the dawn to witness a sunrise out on the Maasai Mara. As the sun sets fire to the savannah, you’ll have the chance to watch predators such as leopards and lions out on the hunt while the air is still cool.

You may also wish to indulge yourself by adding a sunrise hot air balloon safari and champagne breakfast to your safari. Speak with your safari specialist about making this once-in-a-lifetime experience happen for you.

After a late breakfast, you’ll take a picnic lunch and head out into the park for a day of discovery as you track the movements of the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) or go in search of the Big Five.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Have an early morning game drive in the reserve, later return to the lodge for a sumptuous last breakfast; give your byes to the new found friends, capture last photos at the camp for sweet memories then depart for lake Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight in Nakuru.

 

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

After early morning breakfast proceed for an extensive morning game drive in lake nakuru national park which is adored for its bird spectacle on earth. Apparently it’s the only park in Kenya where you will be able to see rhinos in black and white. Leave lake nakuru national park after lunch for a drive to Nairobi arriving mid or late afternoon with memories to fill your soul.
